KIM AND KYLE RICHARDS SUED OVER ALLEGED DOG ATTACK AND ‘CONSPIRACY’ COVER-UP BY ‘RHOBH’ STAR.
Kim and Kyle Richards may have had their issues with each other in the past, but they’ll be forced to put up a united front – in court.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars – along with Kim’s son, Chad Davis, and her business manager – are being sued for assault and battery, gross negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress over an alleged dog attack and subsequent “conspiracy” to cover it up.
In court documents obtained by ET, Paige Sanderson alleges that she was invited to Kyle’s home, where Kim and Chad were living, on April 9 to help dress Kim for an event and was attacked by the reality star’s pit bull, Kingsley.
The suit claims that Kingsley “had an extremely vicious and unusually dangerous nature,” citing previous alleged attacks on Kyle’s daughter and “an elderly family friend.”
Paige also says that Chad “intentionally and deliberately let Kingsley out of his bedroom to attack [Paige] after threatening that he would do so unless people left [Kyle’s] house.” Here is the suit’s description of the attack that supposedly forced Paige to undergo surgery:
“Kinglsey lunged at her and bit and held on to her lower abdomen and crotch, tearing off her leggings and underwear and ripped out portions of flesh between her legs and genitalia, before Kinglsey was pulled from her. As a result of the attack, she was traumatized, started to go into shock and bleed profusely.”
As for the “conspiracy” portion of the suit, Paige claims that, after the attack, Kim phoned her attorney and business manager and refused to call 911 until Paige agreed to say a stray dog attacked her instead of Kingsley.
“She was a performer in a TV reality show from which she already had been terminated before, but rehired and could possibly face another firing from the show if she brought further negative publicity to the show,” the suit says of Kim’s involvement on RHOBH.
The court docs argue that Kim and her business manager cared more about their “greedy, selfish and self-serving needs and financial gain” than Paige’s well-being, so she is now seeking an undetermined amount of money at trial.
ET has reached out to Kim and Kyle’s camps for comment.
Meanwhile, there is some good news for Kyle: The Bravo star recently opened up to ET about her and co-star Yolanda Hadid’s “rocky” friendship – but that’s all moot now that Yolanda announced she’s leaving the show.
